As part of her Significant Tree Projects, Caroline has been casting the fruit of famous trees. The National Trust give the artist access to Woolsthorpe Manor where Isaac Newton was born and where the famous apple fell which led to his thoughts on gravity. She has been collecting some of the apples from the tree and has made beautiful casts from the original fruit. Principia is her largest Aluminium Cast apple currently - there is only one. It comes boxed with a certificate of authentication.
